Here is the best preference order you can refer to while choosing one IIIT from the long list you mentioned. I have considered all parameters including placements, coding culture, research, infrastructure, alumni, etc
If you are genuinely interested in coding or CSE, the best options for you would be IIIT Hyderabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, and Delhi. You can consider the top NITs as excellent options too. These 4 IIITs are the only IIITs that are better than NITs in terms of research, curriculum, and holistic development.
IIIT Lucknow, although a new IIIT, has established its name among the top IIITs. Its high ranking is because of its excellent coding culture and thus many product companies visit it. These 4 IIITs have their own campus too and charge high fees because of the top-notch faculty and research resources they offer.
All the remaining IIITs are in the development stage and should not be given consideration. It’s better to choose the top 7 or 8 NITs than these developing IIITs.
I can never stop suggesting people join ISI Kolkata by any means. It’s a magical place for math lovers and has given birth to many world-renowned Mathematicians. Even the offered SERC at IISc cannot be compared to ISI.
Whenever you are choosing a college or even a branch, the best way to determine the best option is to check the faculty profiles. People who choose colleges solely on the basis of placements realize the true scenario to be way different than expected and end up regretting their decision. So, don’t aim for becoming successful only, rather become talented and skilled enough that success seeks you on its own. Stop focusing on placements, focus on other major things, and good placements will be well on your way!
It’s better to denounce the sheep mentality and think from your own perspective. If you are attracted to CS because of its lucrative branches, I suggest you not go for new IITs as the placement scenario is not that good.
IIT Roorkee, on the other hand, is a very old Engineering college with an excellent legacy. The rich coding culture motivates even non-CS students to learn coding to apply for software companies. The new IITs soaring in Guwahati and Indore lack the necessary resources and dynamism of coding.
One can always work on their noncore branches and gain additional skills to compensate for their flaws. But one should risk the Institute and always go for the best.
It’s better to choose IIT Roorkee Mechanical than CS in new IITs.
For CSE, IIITs such as IIIT Hyderabad and IIIT Delhi are far better than NIT Srinagar. These institutes have excellent coding cultures. Students of these IIITs take part in competitive coding from the first year onwards. IIIT Hyderabad is a great option if you are interested in CSE/IT. It offers good placement opportunities for these branches. According to the recent highlights of IIIT Hyderabad placements, the highest CTC for CSE is INR 56 LPA.
Masters’ Union School of Business PGP is a new and distinct program but it lives up to the hype. The program offered good learning resources and can be compared to ISB PGP. Here is a brief comparison of the two PGP programs.

Masters’ Union PGP course work is demanding due to its highly practical nature. You often have to go beyond the mandate for most courses. The peer group includes students from diverse backgrounds such as law, consulting, commerce, etc.
The institute offers students a C-suite mentor during the early stages of the program. The mentor makes sure that you are staying updated with the coursework.
Master’ Union placements for the first PGP course were excellent. Students received an average CTC of INR 3.75 LPA. Companies like EY, McKinsey, ITC, visited the campus drive.
The institute offers fundraising assistance, legal help, and mentorships to budding entrepreneurs. The founding cohort had three start-ups. They received equity-free grants to start.

Chandigarh University is better than Panjab University. It is ranked among the best universities in the country. CU is also the youngest university in the country to receive a NAAC A+ grade. This speaks for the quality of education offered at Chandigarh University.
Academics:
CU is good, especially for engineering courses. The teaching methodology offers the perfect blend of theoretical and practical learning opportunities throughout the course of study. The university goes the extra mile by bringing industry experts, research scholars, and subjects experts to teach students core competencies.
Chandigarh University Placements:
The placement highlights for the academic year 2021 are given below.
The innovative academic approach and excellent placement records are the reasons that make Chandigarh University stand out.
One of my friends is currently residing in Jaipur and he recommends RNB Global University, Bikaner for higher education.
Though the quality of education at Amity University Jaipur is not so high and placements are very poor, he took admission to RNB Global University. It has one of the finest infrastructure and rendering world-class facilities one can see on the campus.
The faculty is highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees from top universities around the world. The interaction level between faculty and students is also very high. There's communication both ways, which is a key aspect.
It is situated on a 300-acre campus in the city of Bikaner and assures an all-around development of the students with various student-led activities, cross-college electives for students, and regular visits by eminent personalities with a lot of guest lectures.
