ISB Hyderabad's 1 year MBA program or Top 25 US B schools 2 year MBA program? Which is worth in the long run in terms of opportunities and pay package?
You cannot logically compare US B Schools with ISB Hyderabad considering the difference in the quality of peer ground and overall education.
To give a better understanding, compare the ROI of both the B Schools. ISB Hyderabad MBA fees are around 24-28 Lakhs per year and considering the placement scenario, you cannot get a package of more than 15-18 Lakhs. On the other hand, the average fee of a US B School is around 120-200k Dollars and the salary one can expect from a B School is 120k. The ROI in the latter case is much better.
However, these ROI calculations have overlooked one part. As an International student, you'll need a job with a firm that sponsors h1b visas. This reduces 70% of coveted jobs. Now the hunt for a suitable job is tougher and you have to also hope that you win the h1b lottery. If you are unable to do so you might end up in India with a heavy loan of 80-90k Lakhs with an average salary of 15-20 LPA.
So we can say that US B Schools are always the better option than ISB Hyderabad but the risks involved are tenfold.
How is IIM Calcutta for the advanced program in data science, 1 year certification course? Is it better than the ISB Hyderabad course and IIITB PGD in data analytics?
In my opinion, the IIM APDS is just an average course. ISB Hyderabad course is much better. It’s better to do Data Science courses from technical universities rather than Management colleges like IIM. Also, the IIM APDS course is quite expensive and more like a BA course than Data Science. It focuses more on Business Mathematics/ Business case study discussion than how to explore a data set.

How is the BSc course at Christ University, Bangalore?
I am a BSc. student at Christ University. My experience of pursuing this course at Christ has been a mixed bag.
The faculty for BSc. at Christ is average at best, and the facilities offered to students are not up to the mark. One can approach the respective subject teacher if one wishes to study and research in that particular field.
Some events organized by the university which are related to this field, are quite good in all honesty. Another thing is that Christ University imposes a lot of rules and regulations on students, which can be very burdensome at times.
Overall, Christ University offers a decent BSc. program, and you can opt for the same if you do not come across better options.
What is the scope of doing Post Graduation Diploma in Applied Statistics from IGNOU?
PGDAST is concerned with applied statistics. As a result, it requires fewer proofs. There are more theorems, formulas, and methods to employ. While a Masters's program contains numerous proofs as well as an applied component. However, PGDAST will undoubtedly improve your statistical knowledge. Furthermore, statistics have numerous applications in computer science and big data/data research. As a result, it will undoubtedly improve your career prospects. You have 8 credits for foundation courses in the second year. The remaining 32 credits must be satisfied by Math papers and the second elective.
Electives and application-oriented courses are available in the third year (AOC). AOC requires 16 or 8 credits in this case. This is because elective courses can take either 56 or 64 credits over the course of the semester. As previously stated, if you aim for a minimum of 40 credits, you only need 56 credits from electives and can have 16 credits from AOC.
