How will you rank these colleges for B.com in Mumbai NM ,HR, RA Podar, Mithibai, KJ Somaiya and Symbiosis? How are these colleges for outstation students?
My brother was in a similar situation a few years back. Here are some tips based on his experience, which may help you make a choice.
- Campus Life: In terms of campus placement, the preference order will be Mithibai > NM > KJ Somaiya > RA Podar > HR. The campus life at HR is not good.
- Brand Value: HR and NM have similar brand recognition. For the others, it’s Mithibai, RA Podar, and KJ Somaiya.
- Campus Size: NM, Mithibai has big campuses, followed by KJ Somaiya and Podar. The campus of HR is quite small.
- Placement: In terms of placements, the preference order is - HR > NM ~ Mithibai > Podar > KJ Somaiya.
Although Symbiosis is a private institute, it is probably the best option among the choices given.
Which college is better for a B Com hons Shyam Lal College or Sri Aurobindo?
I have a few friends from both Shyam Lal College (Delhi) and Sri Aurobindo. Here is what you can expect from the institutes.
Shyam Lal College (Delhi):
- Infrastructure: The institute is not the best if we focus on its infrastructure and amenities, as per the requirements of the students. The washrooms are typically not in their best condition, unlike other institutes as well. However, the food quality of the canteen is favorably above average.
- Placements: As per the reports, only about 40% to a maximum of 45% of the entire strength secure placements. The average salary package witnessed until now can range anywhere between INR 4 - 6 Lacs per Annum (LPA).
- Faculty: On a brighter note, the faculty members of the institute are undoubtedly exceptional.
Sri Aurobindo College:
- Educational prospects: Sri Aurobindo College is quite good for the commerce department.
- Placements: Several top-tier companies visit the campus during the placement season, for instance, E&Y being one huge name among many others. In addition, students also secure the opportunity to study offshores, if their criteria meet, as per the rules of collaboration with companies. The placement cell equally contributes to helping students achieve their goals, with securing almost 80% of the placement percentage and an average salary package touching about INR 4 - 5 Lacs Per Annum.
- Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is not as commendable as the other factors. However, the laboratories are quite good, with several pieces of equipment ready for use. Alongside that, the WiFi facilities are exceptional as well.

I have complete my 12th from nios board can I get admission in this university for B. Com or BCA program or I have to give entrance exam?
Candidates who want to pursue BCA from MSU Baroda can apply online with the required information. Eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance test.
Admission to the B. Com (Honors) is done on the basis of the merit of the aggregate marks secured by students in 12th (H.S.S.C.) Examination.
So, B.Com does not require any specific entrance exam while BCA does.
Which college is better for a BCom (H): Ramjas or KMS?
Among these two institutes, KMC (Kirori Mal College) is the better option for pursuing a B.Com (H). As a B.Com student, you will get all the required facilities. The faculty base is quite good. They are well-experienced and have good command over the subjects. The college has a collection of the latest books. Overall, it offers decent academics and environment to grow.
Is it possible to manage a CA with a BCom at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce?
Yes, it is possible for a CA student to continue their studies in CA with a B.com at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. They just have to manage their time wisely and give proper attention as well as determination to both of them. The college has no attendance issues.
However, college can be difficult at times because of comprehension questions, multiple choice questions, written tests, viva, assignments, exams, and activities related to assessments, projects, or lesson plans. The teacher does not care if you're preparing for CA. They would make no negotiations in assignments and any other areas of concern.
Which one is better for a B.Com hons the Hansraj College or the Banaras Hindu University?
Hansraj College will be a better option for pursuing B.Com Hons. It has a better Commerce faculty. It is one of the top colleges on the DU North campus and offers great extracurricular. Reputed companies such as EY, Oyo, Deloitte, D.E. Shaw, etc. visit the campus placements. The average CTC received by the B.Com students is around INR 8-9 LPA.
Which college is better for a B.Com Hons: Shaheed Bhagat Singh or DCAC?
According to the reviews online, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is considered to be a better institution than Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC).
Here are some reasons as to why:
- The infrastructure of SBSC is much better than DCAC. It is well maintained and has all the necessary facilities.
- SBSC is considered the best college for commerce of Delhi University.
- The commerce department conducts lots of seminars helmed by top industrialists.
- They also conduct industry visits and internships, for students to provide them hands-on training and to blend into the corporate industry.
- They have a strong alumni network.
- They always maintained a 90% placement record.
- The faculty members are well experienced and very cooperative.

Which college is the best for a BCom (H), Venky, Kirori Mal or Ramjas?
For a BCom (H), Venky will be a better option. It has a better faculty base. The student crowd is also engaging. Kirori Mal is a decent college but it is more reputed for its science subjects. While Ramjas is more well-known for its Arts courses. For B.Com, Venky is the best among these institutes.
I am pursuing CA Should I do B.Com P or B.Com H from DU SOL?
You should not seek a B. Com course from DU SOL neither Program nor honors. As a CA candidate, you should get enrolled in a B.com program from IGNOU. In comparison to DU SOL, it will provide you with a higher level of education with good faculty members and facilities for a B.Com program.
The biggest advantage would be that you only have to attempt 4 or 5 tests during the entirety of your course. According to the terms and conditions of the MOU and your CA Results, you will be excused from another subject based on certain conditions. One of my friends graduated from DU SOL with a B.Com degree, which, according to him, adds no value to his profession as a CA aspirant.
Furthermore, if you enroll in DU SOL to pursue a program in B.Com, you will be required to visit examination centers that you have never heard of in the city of Delhi. I insist that you consider ideas and suggestions from CA pursuant who have pursued or are pursuing a B.Com program from DU SOL and are members of the CA Fraternity.
Which college should I choose for a B.Com Ramjas College, Sri Venkateswara College or the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce?
It is suggested that you go for Sri Venkateswara College (SVC) or Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC), as both colleges are famous for their commerce department.
They have the best, most experienced faculty with some professors having 15-20 years of educational experience. You will have opportunities to take part in extracurricular activities through clubs and societies. SVC also has the best placement opportunities and has the advantage of being in Satya Niketan, the best college of south campus.
Therefore, your first choice or preference should be either SVC or SGGSCC, followed by Ramjas college.
