Which college is better for BCA, GITAM University (Vizag), Presidency College (Bangalore) or Reva University (Bangalore)?

Among these, REVA University, Bangalore will be the best option. Compared to the other colleges, it has better faculty placement and facilities. 

REVA University BCA fees are INR 2.55 LPA. According to the placement highlights of  BCA, around 89% of students get placed each year with salary packages in the range of INR 3-4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, and TCS recruit from the college. BCA students sit for placement with 500+ Computer Science students, so the competition is tough.

Which private university is better for an MTech - M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, REVA University, or PES University?

REVA University provides 15 M. Tech courses, MS Ramaiah University provides 17 M. Tech courses and PES University provides 30 courses.

If a college has to be chosen between these three, one can look at the following factors.

M S Ramaiah University:

In the academic year 2019, the college was ranked 82 among the top 100 colleges in India by Outlook. All the courses that are provided by the college are approved by AICTE. The total fees for the M. Tech program are Rs 4.70 Lakhs (2 years).

Admission:

  • A student can get into the college with a valid GATE score, however, it also accepts post graduate common entrance test (PGCET).

  • The student should get a minimum of 50% in graduation for becoming eligible for the course.

  • There are a total of 24 seats available for this course.

Placement:

  • 70% of the students were placed in the academic year of 2019.

REVA University is the best option among these. It offers good academics, facilities, and placement opportunities. The university follows a well-designed curriculum. Equal emphasis is given to both theoretical and practical learning. The faculty members of the institute are well-experienced and have years of experience in their niche field. 

REVA university placements are decent. During the 2021 placement drive, students received an average CTC of INR 5.5 LPA - 6 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 24 LPA.

For ECE, REVA University is better. The department has a dedicated group of faculties. The classroom sessions are interactive. The college also offers many skill development programs which are quite useful. 

REVA University offers good facilities and infrastructure to students. It has a library that stays open from 6 am to 12 pm. If you are interested in coding, you can join the coding club of the institute. 

REVA University ECE placements are around 100% each year. On average students of this branch received a package of around 4 LPA to 5 LPA.
