Which is better -Delhi Technological University or Manipal?

Both of these colleges are very old, and Manipal is one of the oldest private colleges in India. It is difficult to pick one institute over the other as both have their advantages.

According to NIRF Rankings 2020, Manipal University is among the top 10 universities in the country and ranked at 8. Whereas DTU is 34th among the top technical universities of India. Both these institutes have good infrastructure and offer decent academic environments.

Location wise as DTU is situated at Delhi, it offers more exposure compared to Manipal University. The alumni bases of both these campuses are great and include some big names like Satya Nadella, Rajeev Suri, Vinod Dham, and Vijay Sekhar Sharma.

According to the placement highlights of 2019, the average CTC offered at DTU was around 6.5 LPA and the highest international package offered was INR 1.02 Cr. Manipal University had an average CTC of 7.50 LPA and a maximum package of 39.60 LPA during the placement drive of 2019.

Manipal University is a better option than LPU. It is a reputed private college with an excellent placement record. Manipal University placements 2022 had an average CTC of around INR 38 LPA. Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and Oracle were some of the major recruiters for the institute.  

Manipal University has an excellent campus with decent facilities. It also has a less number of students compared to LPU which gives equal exposure to everyone. The alumni base of Manipal University is better than LPU.
