My sister studied economics at Lady Brabourne College for 3 years and from that experience, she came to realize that Jadavpur University would've been the better option.
The subjects taught at Lady Brabourne College were very hectic and lengthy answers were asked in exams and even then you will be given low marks.
Whereas in Jadavpur university, the faculty number is vast and they are all very well read and experts in their fields. Amartya Sen is one of the JU professors. You will find that the semesters are well spaced too so that even if you study all year long, it won't feel like a burden. Economics has not only a very advanced syllabus but also a very brilliant faculty who focus on the development of students and remain unaffected by university politics.
One thing is for sure, that as a JU student you will not require tuition fees because the faculty will always be ready to solve all your doubts and answer each query.
Considering this question following particulars are be listed that will be beneficial for the student to choose their career options.

Ragging is strictly prohibited at NIT Rourkela. The institute has a number of measures to eliminate ragging. Since ragging usually takes place at hostels, first-year boys are allotted exclusively in GDV/MV Halls of residence. Seniors aren’t allowed to enter the first-year hostels. Other than these, there are also a few other effective measures in place to curb ragging.
The mess food at NIT Silchar is very oily. Poori or Paratha is served for almost every breakfast. Potatoes are the only abundant vegetable. Other healthy vegetables are served quite seldom. Salad isn’t served everyday. Occasionally, you'll get some fruit like Bananas, or fruit shake. A thick layer of oil can be seen floating on top of the vegetables.
It is unhealthy to consume such an oily breakfast on a regular basis. Oily foods lead to increased cholesterol levels and very bad heart health. Even the snacks consist of fritters, samosas, and other foods that require deep frying. The seniors don’t bother and say nothing can be done in this regard.
Sadly, this is the case not just of NIT Silchar, but many other colleges and universities. Not just a health freak, but a normal student would also agree that such unhealthy levels of oil can lead to serious health problems in the future.
An MS from IIT Kanpur is considered to be a highly respected and prestigious degree. Data Science and Business Analytics is an online MBA program offered by NMIMS Mumbai. It is an 18 month-long program. I have a few friends who are pursuin this course. Their experience with the program has been quite good. The course is delivered mainly in two parts, i.e. learning videos on the platform and live sessions conducted by the professor during the weekend. The classes cover a wide range of topics. The live sessions featuring many reputed faculties and industry experts help in solving doubts. The program offers both management subjects and technical subjects like Machine learning and other Data Science related tools like Python, SQL, etc.
The evaluation is done through Internal Assessment/Case Study and a term-end examination for each course in the program. This course is great if you want to gain skills and knowledge in the field of AIML.
When it comes to educational quality, it is important to note that professors' quality may be unsatisfactory due to politics and a high turnover rate. Furthermore, student evaluations at the end of a course are not taken into account by the school. Cheating is also common in quizzes, making whether you study or not irrelevant and allowing lower-performing students to score higher grades.
In terms of living conditions, the hostels provide separate rooms with attached bathrooms, but the college is located quite far from the city. The nearest sector is five kilometers away, and transportation costs can be prohibitively expensive. The food at the mess is of poor quality, and there are no other dining options. Furthermore, students are not permitted to keep electric kettles in their rooms, and fines for breaking this rule can be severe.
IIM Raipur has a strong record of placement, with 100% of students placed. In the Times Annual B School Ranking Survey 2021, IIM Raipur was ranked second in India.
I have a few friends from Lucknow University and according to them, for the entrance examination, it focuses more on the syllabus of your 11th and 12th commerce subjects mainly. There will be a total of 75 questions based on these subjects.
The topics covered in the examination are as follows.
Further, Current Affairs is not a particular subject but is all about what is happening all around you. It is just a basic knowledge of what is happening in the world around us and this constitutes about 25 questions of the test.
