Pritam Ganguli Posted On : January 5th, 2021
BCA from Amity University Noida (2019)

Ranging from sports to dancing, Amity provides a myriad of opportunities. A student can pursue any course; he/she has interest in.

The syllabus of BCA is the same in all recognised universities in India. Hence, any question regarding the faculty cannot be deduced. In addition, it depends on students how to make lectures productive and beneficial. However, BCA without a master’s degree is of no value. Therefore, for pursuing BCA, an institute is not that important. There is no entrance test for enrollment in BCA at Amity. Anyone having mathematics as one of the subjects in 12th can take admission in Amity.

The placements in Amity Noida are somewhat good. However, getting through placements depends on academic record and performance in the interview. There is a specialised placement cell to help students with the interview process.

At last doing BCA from a particular institute does not matter. Because graduating with a master’s degree, like MCA will provide many placement opportunities.

Is Amity University, Noida a better option than KIIT, Bhubaneswar for a B.Tech?

S
Sagardeep Posted On : March 9th, 2023
B.Tech. Aerospace Engineering

If you are considering Amity University, Noida for Engineering, it is recommended that you do not enroll there. According to students who completed their bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from there, it's a pathetic place to study. They claim that the quality of teaching is very poor, research is nil, and fees are too high. They highly recommend that you join KIIT, Bhubaneswar for a B.Tech, rather than Amity University, Noida.

Based on their experience, they believe that anyone who recommends Amity is either lying or trying to get a commission from you. Therefore, it's advised that you look into other options and do your research before making a decision on where to pursue your engineering degree.

Here is a video comparing these top engineering colleges

Is it easy to score CGPA (expected above 8) in Amity University Noida for B.Tech?

AG
Ankita Garg Posted On : March 1st, 2021
Studied at Amity University

No, it’s not easy to score above 8 in Amity. You need to be very particular and disciplined about your studies to be able to achieve above 8 in Amity. You need to keep your attendance above 90% for all the subjects. You should try to become the CR of the class. It helps in many situations.

Keep yourself away from any kind of community, society, organizations, or student chapters. They will take up so much of your time and energy. You won’t realize it initially but later on, when things will get out of your hands, you will realize the importance of the time wasted in those meetings, functions, and seminars by the student chapters.

You can even be a part of extracurricular activities but at your own risk. You need to first focus on your academics, and then on anything else.

Which is the best PG near Amity University in Noida?

FA
Fatima Ahmed Posted On : May 6th, 2021
Studied at G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (2021)

If you are looking for a nice place to stay, you should definitely do a personal visit to every place you shortlisted. You should think before putting your life and money in other peoples’ hands because everyone brags about their service, but actually, the performance is zero.

  • Instead of PGs, you can choose professionally managed student centers. These properties are designed and managed as per the needs of the students.
  • The staff takes care of everything: from housekeeping to buffet and from maintenance to security.
  • You will get round-the-clock SOS helpline numbers in case of any non-medical or medical emergency.

If you are looking for only PGs, then your main focus should be to search for a place that has an in-house kitchen because you can feel hungry at any time of the day.

  • This service is provided by the Students Inn only. It is located opposite Gate No.2 of Amity University.
  • You can enjoy omelets, boiled eggs, Maggi, pakoras at any time of the day.
  • Good quality food is served as per regular meal timings and high tea served in the evening.
  • The rooms are spacious and it also has a brand-new gym in the basement.
  • Every room is provided with a TV, cable, and Netflix.

In case you have has any kind of grievance as far as the quality of service is concerned, the place provides a customer helpline to sort out such issues. Houses are decorated with modern facilities so that your living becomes comfortable and pleasurable.

How is the BBA course at Amity University, Noida?

NM
Neetu Mishra Posted On : March 24th, 2023
studied at Amity University, Noida

If you're considering universities for your BBA degree, it's important to make an informed decision based on the reputation and academic excellence of the institution. While there are many universities to choose from, it's important to consider the factors that matter most to you.

Amity University and Christ University are two universities that are often compared when it comes to BBA programs. While opinions may vary, it's important to gather accurate information before making a decision.

Firstly, it's important to note that Amity University doesn't have a good reputation when it comes to colleges, according to some sources. On the other hand, Christ University is known for its academic excellence and has a good reputation in the education sector.

When it comes to rankings, it's important to take them with a grain of salt. Some rankings are based on paid advertisements and may not accurately reflect the quality of education offered by the institution. It's recommended that you do your own research and gather information from reliable sources before making a decision.

If you're considering BBA programs, there are many other universities that you can consider, such as Narsee Monjee, Symbiosis, IP University, and Christ University. These universities are known for their academic excellence and have a good reputation in the education sector.

If you have the opportunity to enroll in Christ University, it's recommended that you go for it. However, it's important to note that the university has strict rules and regulations that need to be followed throughout your graduation. These rules are in place to maintain academic excellence and ensure that students are able to achieve their full potential.

Which foreign language is taught the best at Amity University, Noida?

PC
Piyali Chakrabarty Posted On : April 27th, 2022
BJMC from Amity University (2019)

Amity University, Noida teaches four languages, i.e. Franch, Spanish, Garman, and Chinese. To be on the safe side, you can take Franch. Majority of the students choose Franch, so you can get help from your classmates. The French teachers are also good. However, French is a difficult language to learn. You don’t speak, what you read. You don’t write, what you speak. The spelling and pronunciation are opposite to each other.

You can keep Garman as an option. It is comparably easy and scoring.

Is the gym, swimming pool, etc. and the facilities free for the students at Amity University Noida?

SS
Shikha Sharma Posted On : January 30th, 2021
Studies B.Tech from Amity University, Noida (2020)

Amity University is known for its world-class campus and student facilities, including its hostels, sports grounds, gym, and much more. A friend of mine informed me that while most of these facilities are absolutely free for students to use, there are some specific services that either is for selected students (students who are part of sports teams, etc) or students are required to pay a certain amount to use it.

  • The University features a 15-acre sports complex that includes multiple facilities like a swimming pool, gym, badminton court, an 8 layer ultra-cushion synthetic tennis court, football field, volleyball court, squash court, and horse riding academy.
  • While the swimming pool facilities are free to use, students are required to pay for using the gym. With respect to the basketball, volleyball, and table tennis courts, students can use these for free but are required to carry their own equipment and rackets to play.
  • Amity University also features a gaming zone called Arcadia where students can find Xbox, Play Stations, and PC’s for LAN gaming. All these facilities are to be paid for on an hourly basis.
  • Apart from that, it also has bumping cars, jamming rooms, bull rides, billiards tables, and much more as you would usually find at malls. These games along with other virtual games are also accounted for. Students can only use them once they have paid for them.

Some facilities like the gym also come with a monthly and annual membership fee, so students also have the option to choose from those. All these facilities are built up to international standards and encourage students to maintain an active lifestyle and learn team management. These are the main student facilities at Amity and how they are accounted for. All the Best!
