Yes, there is a fresher party at LPU, but it is not organized by LPU itself. The Division of Student Association and the Division of Student Welfare both are responsible for organizing fresher parties at LPU. This party is supervised by the head of a particular department and seniors take care of all the things. 

I've completed MBA HRM and Marketing from LPU. I was in the organizing committee of the freshers’ party that our batch gave to our immediate juniors. The seniors organize a party in two batches (North and South) and it is up to the freshers’ to join either. 

Since LPU does not officially organize the fresher party, seniors have to choose to either celebrate at the campus or a club/venue. The other such event I enjoyed after admission into LPU was a Hostelers’ party. This party is for the hostel students, both girls and boys. To join a freshers’ party you need to pay a charge which can be anywhere between INR 500 - 1500 per head. Also, there are competitions like Mr. & Miss Fresher, games and dance performances, Bollywood retro music, and much more.

My Name is Satvir Singh and I have completed my Engineering from LPU. About the diversity and strength of students at LPU, I was really amazed. Lovely Professional University is a well-reputed private university in India. It attracts students from various parts of India and abroad.

There are 30,000+ students on campus.This includes more than 1800 foreign students.I found it impressive that every student at LPU gets exposed to such diverse cultures and traditions. This in turn helps them develop a strong and open-minded personality. 

The LPU campus is culturally diverse. When I was studying there, LPU would organize a yearly event called ‘ONE WORLD’. In this event, students would represent their country with traditional dances, songs, celebrations and other activities. They would present food stalls exhibiting famous cuisines from their culture. LPU offers a number of cultural exchange programs which provide students the opportunity to study abroad and experience different cultures. 

Thus, the university promotes students' cultural integrity and recognizes & celebrates the diverse cultural heritage of India, and the world. It offers a platform for cultural expression. Based on my personal experience, LPU is a great place to learn and experience and develop yourself in a diverse cultural environment.

Yes, LPU offers various opportunities for students to work directly with industry and Entrepreneurial projects. Industry projects give the students insights about the latest trends in the corporate world and help them become competitive and ready for the real world.

By Air:- The nearest airports are Amritsar and Chandigarh, you can take a flight till Amritsar or Chandigarh and catch a bus or Private Taxi to reach LPU. By Train:- There is good rail connectivity from New Delhi to nearby cities in LPU. The nearest railway stations to LPU are Phagwara, Jalandhar city and Jalandhar cant.

No, there is no campus around Delhi NCR other than LPU in Phagwara.

Hello, this is Alok Aggarwal, an MBA graduate from LPU. Lovely Professional University is India's largest private university and one of the country's top leading institutions. The university is spread over an area of 600 acres and has a sprawling ultra-modern campus. 

LPU claims to have one of the most diverse campuses across the country, with over 30,000 students. LPU has several latest and modern facilities like labs, library, hostels, smart classrooms, theaters, museums, auditoriums, etc. 

Talking about the library at LPU. For an avid reader like me, LPU offers a huge Library System with 11 branches. The Central Library in Block-37 is the biggest. There are more than 24+ lakh books and e-books on all subjects and for every field. 

Besides books, the library systems at LPU also have rare book collections, special reports, reference sources, audio-visual material, research journal, etc. The Library is well equipped with RFID-chip installed books and RFID scan technology which allows us to take and return the books ourselves without standing in a queue. 

The library also has several Computers so that we can use them to play CDs/ DVDs etc and learn various topics. One thing that I really loved about the LPU library is the UMS Library Management System, which allows you to search for a specific book and you can check the library's shelf location and availability of the book. The book is given to the student for 15 days, following which they can either renew it or return it.

I am currently pursuing B.Com LLB at LPU. I am a student of LPU since 3 years. LPU is a good place for personal growth and education.

A lot of factors make LPU unique. LPU offers a number of UG and PG level courses. Apart from that, the infrastructure, facilities, student diversity and other features make LPU different from many other colleges and universities. 

LPU has a whole city within the campus, it provides almost all the facilities within its campus itself. Every year LPU launches unique initiatives or student development programs. For example, LPU has recently organized a Hackathon called “Dare to Innovate” that aims to encourage students to seek innovative ideas and solutions. 

Another initiative that I can recall is “E-Parikshaka” which was smart technologies and equipment testing for farmers. Apart from that, numerous other unique initiatives are regularly taken at LPU. 

Thus, it is clear that LPU is a unique and leading private University in India.

The infrastructure at Christ is amazing. The university makes sure that the students are leading an active college life with the perfect blend of academics and various extracurricular activities. You can take part in the multiple clubs that are present on the campus or make a club of your own which the University actively supports. The classrooms are modernized with good facilities and are sanitized regularly. There are various sports facilities spread all across the campus such as badminton and tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts and football courts. The campus is breathtaking with multiple trees, animals, plants and lakes. Some fests and events take place throughout the year. The library is well stocked with a huge number of books from varied courses. You can even borrow journals and non-fictional books from the library. The campus is surrounded by malls and cafes which you can visit with your friends.
