Yes, IIT Guwahati has a guest house facility for visitors, faculty members and visitors. Well-furnished guest houses with all the basic needs are available inside the campus which can be availed by the visitors. Guest house rooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Some rooms are also allotted for double-sharing.
There are two guest houses on the campus - Old GH and New GH. Visitors can stay by paying the daily rent. Students’s parents are also allowed to stay at guest houses when they visit the campus.
