If you are able to maintain a good CGPA over the semesters and have skills in your core subject, then you will easily get placed in companies with packages of 8-10 lakhs per annum. In case you are unsatisfied with the packages, you can also opt for off-campus interviews
Which is better: Anna University or IIT Madras?
Both Anna University and IIT Madras function under the Government of India and thus have a great research culture. But IIT Madras is a much better option than Anna University.

What are some hostels or PGs near Sharda University, Greater Noida?
If you don't want to stay at the campus hostel there are some good hostels and PGs near Sharda University. You can choose them based on your requirements. I will suggest you stay in Gamma-I or Beta-I. These two sectors are very close to Sharda University.
- Gamma-I has the biggest market Jagat farm of greater Noida. You can find anything easily there.
- Beta-I is located opposite of Gamma-I.
- Living at any of these two sectors will be great as you can easily get direct auto rickshaws to Sharda University. The fare is also quite cheap.
- If you are unable to get into these two sectors you can go for Alpha-I. This sector is also well connected.
My suggestion is to stay in any of these three sectors I mentioned above. Don't stay at PGs. Most of the PGs near the college are not that good. The only good hostel near the college is the GN hostel.
Is IET Lucknow comparable to NIT?
Of course, if you look at the faculty, placements, and atmosphere, it is very similar to NITs.
In terms of a student competition, due to the 50% state quota in all NITs, many students with very low scores get into NITs, but in a state like UP, it is extremely difficult to get into NIT even after the state quota due to massive competition. Furthermore, students who take admission in IET have a very good rank in UPSEEE; they are those students who have a decent rank even in JEE Mains but do not go to NITs due to branch issues, so students here are also good. The most important aspect is that you will receive excellent preparation for future studies such as GATE and CAT. This is not available in many NITs because they are located in cities with no coaching institutes.
Is project management course in Nicmar Pune worth?
The Project management course is a total worth at NICMAR. The placements for the course have been good so far. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you are committed to your studies and with this determination, you will get a good placement for sure.
The only thing you should keep in the mind is to get knowledge and that will only help in getting a placement. Your performance also plays an important role during placements. The course will really be beneficial from a career point of view as well.

An M.Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management from NIT Trichy is a very good course. The placements are also really good. Any company which comes to the campus for recruiting mechanical or production specialization students will also let you sit for their process.
There are many core companies in the data/business analytics, supply chain, and simulation sector which offer management-related profiles to the students.
