Yes. It is absolutely worth joining IIM Indore for the IPM Program. Though, you need to clear the IPMAT and the interviews. One of my friends had completed the IPM program at IIM Indore and here are some facts that may be useful to you.
In the evening, things are a bit relaxed as people pursue their interests, sports or hang out with their friends. Things might be hectic on some days, but it will not be boring at IIM Indore.
If you're considering studying at IIT Mandi, here are some points you might find useful:
The new campus of NIT-P is set beautifully on a plot of 280 acres. One of the beautiful things about the campus is that it is set on a seashore which makes the nearby atmosphere very calm and soothing. The new building has a separate science block which is huge and is connected to the nearby hostel and the canteen too.
The new building has labs and workshop rooms which are equipped with the latest tech and pieces of equipment. The new building also has no water problem as compared to the old one. For electricity and power, there have been no issues so far. There is a 24 hr drinking water facility available. Sometimes there are some long power cuts which are informed beforehand as the building is under construction.
Mandi is a beautiful place. The transit campus is located near a very large ground called the paddal ground, surrounded by mountains on all sides, a river flowing right next to the campus.

It has no train connectivity as it is a hilly region. Volvo from Delhi or Chandigarh is the best way to get to Mandi. You can also take a train to Kirathpur and then get a bus to the mandi. You can also get decent amounts of buses to mandi on the highway to manali. The permanent campus for 2nd year students has already moved. The entire college will be shifted in about eight months.
BIT Mesra is a fairly well-known university, especially among the academic intellectuals, with a rich history of many notable alumni. However, except for the people residing in the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, and some parts of West Bengal and Odisha, it is not very popular among the common people in the rest of the country.
The hostels and the mess food can be considered decent and the rooms are well-maintained. Life at the campus is okay, nothing to complain about. Some of the features which may be considered a pro or a con depending upon the person are as follows.
Finally, though placements and the fee are not part of the everyday life of a student, they both affect the mental life of a student in a big way; so worth mentioning. If you are from a CSE/IT/Mechanical/EEE/Production engineering branch, you will receive good placements with many top companies visiting the campus. Whereas branches such as Biotech, Chemical, Polymer engineering have very low packages at campus placements and many also remain unplaced at core companies. The fee is also higher than many state colleges and NITs as it is a private university.
If you can cope up with these things and do not have any other higher-ranked college, BIT Mesra will be a good option for you and it will offer you a good and balanced life.
KJ Somaiya College of Engineering is simply amazing, with the best campus and faculty. Excellent football field, badminton court, table tennis, carrom, and so on. Simple to reach. The canteen is reasonably priced and serves delicious food. Every event over there will be enjoyable for you.
Because your branch is mechanical, the crowd may differ, but all of the students there come from good families. Because of the cutoff, the Mechanical crowd is generally smarter than other branches.
There are many things you can do with your studies, such as joining a team that builds something. Orion Racing creates race cars, Redshift Racing creates ATVs, Onyx creates aircraft, and Team Eta creates fuel-efficient vehicles. You can also create your own project if you don't want to join anything.
Life at BITS Pilani is good in general. The academic part is pretty standard. Since there is no compulsory attendance, you will have the freedom to do what you want with your time. But you will have to face the consequences of your decision. This sets BITS Pilani apart from most colleges. It teaches you to be accountable.
Pilani is a small place, but there are many places to hang out both inside and outside the campus. It has many students clubs and groups. You can easily find like-minded people with shared interests.

Life at Maulana Azad Medical College is all about balance. MAMC has strict academics which keeps the students at their toes. There are always some examinations, projects, OSPE, tutorials around the corner. So, you need to find a balance between studies and other activities.
The batch strength is around 250. The people you will meet on campus are talented and amiable. The daily routine gets monotonous easily. You will hardly get any time to breathe. But after a while, you will get used to the hectic schedule.
