The Metallurgy Department of IIT BHU is one of the oldest engineering departments. It started in 1923 and in the year 2023, it will be a century old. Through all these years, the department has produced fine metallurgists. The laboratories of the Metallurgy Department are well equipped. The National Electron Microscope Facility (NELMIF) was established here in 1982. If one wants to have a core job or wants to go to the research field, there are many opportunities at IIT BHU.
