You should choose IIM Kozhikode. SJMSOM is a good B-School and maintained a decent record over the last few years. However, choosing IIM Kozhikode will offer you the brand value advantages of IIM and long-term returns. 

IIM Kozhikode has a better faculty base for management. You will also get good opportunities to attend lectures by some of the famous visiting faculty.

IIM Kozhikode placements are pretty good as well. As per the 2022 placement highlights, the median CTC offered to the students is around INR 26.5 LPA. 

If you want to pursue IEOR, NITIE should be your preferred institute. NITIE is a dedicated institute for IEOR and has a strong placement scenario. Despite the high tuition fee, it offers a better return on investment.

Given a chance between IIT Bombay and IIT Ropar, you should definitely go for the former. It is currently ranked higher than IIT Ropar. NIRF 2021 has ranked it 3 for B.Tech.

If you want a career in management then NITIE is the better choice. For a career in the technical sector, you should prefer IIT Bombay.

On an overall scale, Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay will be a better option. But you should always give preference to branch over the institute. If you aren’t an IT enthusiast, choose IIT Bombay.
