Direct communication cannot be compared but one of my friends suggested that IIIT Vadodara is an older institute in comparison to the others. The placement officer of IIIT V is good and will be helping in getting good placements by calling good companies to the campus. The college also sends for internships in companies like Amazon. Some of the students also got selected in Google Summer of code.
The comparison table of IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Una, or IIIT Vadodara is as follows:

IBM, Reliance Jio, L&T InfoTech, Ebiz ON, First American etc. |
Amazon, Mathworks, Adobe, Quikr, Siemens, Sigmoid, ICICI Bank, etc. |
Adobe System, IBM, Q3 Technology, Posist Technology etc. |
Since IIIT Una has recently opened, it is not working independently. This college has no relation with NIT Hamirpur which makes it a bit risky.
IIIT Sonepat is much better in terms of placement. The reason is that the companies find it much closer in distance as compared to other institutions. It can be suggested that you first check admission at IIIT Sonepat then at IIIT Vadodara and then go for IIIT Una.
It is always suggested to look for more information from the old alumni IIIT V as they will better tell you about the past placements.
The placement scenario in the institute with respect to different streams in the year 2019-20 was quite attractive. The situation was not good 5 years ago. The companies were not that interested towards the institute.
The prominent details regarding placement in this year are as follows:
Placement Percentage |
75% |
Highest Package |
INR 42 LPA |
Average Package |
INR 14.58 LPA |
Number Of Recruiters |

Close to 70 students bagged up a package of more than INR 10LPA. They have established a good position in the top multinationals.
The primary recruiters are Acxiom, HCL, Samsung, PWC, American Express, Amazon, Cashify, Dell, IBM, Microsoft, Newgen. Microsoft, Optum, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Urban Clap were the major companies that can be looked up to for better records.
Apart from placements internships also gave a good impact in which 102 people got their opportunity. The internships have given an immense exposure to individuals in order to set up a good base in the industrial sectors.
IITM has set up a decent placement record in the past 2-3 years. It has made good networking with different industries in the sector. Therefore choosing any course with the institute would land you up in a better career ahead having more possibilities.
These are three very different fields that can not be compared with each other whatsoever. Each of them is prestigious in itself. They can not be put in an order. Still, here are some basic points worth mentioning.
A more important question that you should ask yourself is “What does my interest lie in?” The way you pursue the course will decide its worth then. You should make sure that you flourish in whatever you do and build a good career out of it.
Institute of Management Studies BHU (IMS BHU) is a good option for an MBA. It has a brilliant faculty base. Most of the faculty members have good industry experience. Classes are interactive and you will learn through case studies on real-world business problems and solutions. BHU MBA fees are only INR 1 Lakh. So, the ROI is pretty good. According to the recent placement highlights, students received an average CTC of INR 7.4 LPA. Many reputed companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, SBI Life, etc. visit the campus placement.
BHU has a huge campus. You will get to meet people from diverse backgrounds during the time you spent on campus. BHU offers an enviable campus experience.
The IITs are funded by the Government so it has complete authority to give admission to anyone. The teachers or the students are not the stakeholders in the case of IITs. It is the Government that pays the teachers' salaries and installs the various facilities. The Government is at complete freedom to decide who can come into ITs and who needs a push in the form of the reservation to join ITs.
The aspirants know beforehand that the Government has set such rules according to its own discretion. No one is forced to give the exam and you can always choose any other option if you think it’s unfair.
Here is a video giving you an honest review of the institute
Aspirants know that there might be cases where a candidate with 10k or above rank will get admission in contrast to the general cutoff. They still fill out firms in hope of clearing the exam. You are precisely giving a Government Exam and need to follow all the necessary rules. So it indeed is justified if someone with a 10k rank is able to make it into IIT Bombay.
One of my friends is from CUSAT SOE. I can provide his experience during his first year at the CUSAT hostel.
In case you do not get a hostel then you can try outside hostels which are located nearby to the college.
