According to official data received from the college, the highest package offered during the placement drives in 2020 was INR 19 Lakhs per Annum which was offered for an international job role. The highest domestic package offered was INR 16.25 Lakhs per Annum. The average package is to be INR 7.5 Lakhs per annum.
These things and aspects generally do not matter as much and the value a college provides should not be based on these. The sham of the highest package offered during placements is best not followed to judge the quality of a college.
JNU offers decent B.Tech courses. The faculties are among the sharpest minds in the country. Most of the professors are alumni of IIT, NIT, and IISc. The reputation of JNU lives no space for doubt about the quality of academics.
The curriculum and syllabus followed are diversified and similar to top IITs and NITs. The syllabus also includes Humanities courses.
In the school, there is a lack of cultural events, but the institute is working on it. There are a few problems regarding the hostel accommodation, but nothing too big. The engineering school is located in a secluded part of the campus.
It's true that NIT Raipur was considered an average NIT but the current scenario begs to differ given the fast-paced growth it has witnessed over the past few years. Its infrastructure has improved for the better and more changes are on the way. The campus has also improved in terms of facilities, environment, and convenience. The laboratories are now equipped with better instruments and all obsolete ones have been discarded. NIT Raipur also has one of the largest libraries amongst all the NITs and the largest digital library even better than some IITs and NITs.
Addressing the elephant in the room, the placements too are commendable. Big IT shots like Amazon, Oracle, Samsung, UHG, and others visit the campus and offer decent packages. Last year, NIT Raipur's average package stood at INR 10.1 LPA. The maximum number of offers were received by the IT and Mechanical students. Out of 101 recruiters, the top ones included Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Adobe, Aditya Birla Group, etc. Additionally, students from NIT Raipur bag excellent ranks every year in GATE, GRE, CAT, etc.
In a nutshell, I dont NIT Raipur is in any way average. In fact, it's one of the best engineering colleges in India.
Here are some girls' hostels allotted to MBBS students of MAMC Delhi
Overall, MAMC girls' hostel facilities aren't very good but you will make a lot of friends there and create amazing memories.
Whether you should leave Seth GS for AIIMS or not can be understood only after going through a general comparison between the two:
Academics: The academics of both colleges are somewhat similar.
Lifestyle: KEM is located in Mumbai so you will have to go through the metro lifestyle which includes pollution, crowd, and an unhygienic lifestyle.
Hostel: Hostel facilities are much better in AIIMS than in KEM. Also, KEM does not provide hostel facilities to 1st-year students. The hostels in KEM are very crowded.
Crowd: KEM has a larger batch and there might be crowding.
The final decision is yours.
My sister reached BITS Pilani Goa a day before the classes started and memories of that particular still stay fresh with her. She spent the entire day setting up her room and unpacking her stuff. Soon, she received her timetable and she was nervous yet very excited to attend classes at her dream college BITS Pilani.
Her first class was Engineering Graphics, which she later dreaded. The first class was accompanied by an introductory lab session and overall the class lasted for an hour. The next Math class was to be held at the Lecture Theatre(LT). Students were given time to take a break after the Math class. After a refreshing break at CCD, she had to attend her Chemistry Lab class but it took her some time to figure out its location.
Once she was done with all her classes she spent the day exploring the beauty of the campus and checking out the SAC, the library, and the shopping complex. She was in awe of the campus and very excited for her new journey ahead.
Both TAPMI and FORE are very reputed institutions and are very good choices to pursue PGDM. As some of my friends studied in the above-mentioned colleges, I can provide some facts that might be useful for you while making a decision.
Categories | PGDM at TAPMI | PGDM at FORE |
Course Fee | 15.1 lakhs | 15.98 lakhs |
Highest CTC | 18-20 LPA | 25 LPA |
Average CTC | 11-12 LPA | 16 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | KPMG, Asian Paints, Mercedes, Adobe, etc. | American Express, HSBC, Barclays, Mindtree, etc. |
Hence, both the colleges are very good options to pursue PGDM, but FORE has some added advantages over TAPMI like better location and alumni which can be very beneficial for you.
BITS Pilani Dubai campus is a great choice over VIT, SRM, or Manipal. Although the fees are high, they are worth the quality of campus life, the international exposure offered, and the excellent faculty pool. Moreover, the BITS Pilani Dubai campus offers two internships during the tenure and guarantees placement after Btech. The infrastructure is top-notch and the labs are well-equipped and excellent sports facilities are offered.
DTU, NIT Delhi and IIIT Delhi campuses are nowhere near the BITS Pilani Dubai campus. VIT and SRM are also on the other side and have decent campus facilities with great faculty and placement scenarios. But it's pretty tough to clear AIEEE and BITSAT etc. with lakhs of people competing for a few seats.
Among these, NIT Jamshedpur is better. Being a centrally funded institute it offers better facilities. It has better brand recognition and industry presence. NIT Jamshedpur placements are excellent. The 2022 batch received an average CTC of around INR 13.2 LPA. Goldman Sachs, TATA Group, Amazon, etc. were some of the major recruiters to take part in the campus recruitment.
Compared to BIT Sindri, NIT Jamshedpur will offer you better academics, facilities, and placements.
If you are planning to stay at the MKM Sanghavi hostel, here are some things you need to keep in mind:
