One of my acquaintances has a better opinion on the same. He says that if you opt to take admission at IIIT Allahabad, then you are more likely to have better opportunities in the IT field.
Yet, here is a brief data about the overall placement, course fees and more about both the institutes,

However, in most cases, 10-15% of students choose ECE companies, but ever since software companies have become high-paying, several students tend to rather opt for an IT job profile.
You can opt to enroll in BITS, Goa for Chemical Engineering only if you are positive to pursue your career in that field, or if you are simultaneously planning for any in-depth research activities in chemical engineering-related fields in the upcoming years.
However, the older IIITs are comparatively better in terms of providing the best of everything, than it is in the newer ones. But, if you are personally considering the branch, then CSE has always been ahead of the list in terms of placement opportunities as opposed to Chemical.
Why do you want to opt for engineering? Is it because you enjoy Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics? If that’s the reason, then there are two possibilities for you.
Joining IIIT Sri City for CSE-
Joining Chemical Engineering at MANIT Bhopal-
If you have no particular inclination, then choosing CSE may be better. As it has two domains, i.e. coding and non-coding. Plus, the internet is full of great ebooks and tutorials to teach you.
I have a few friends at CGC and I heard good things about the institute from them. It is well-known for offering good placements and a decent academic environment.
The institute conducts extra classes. These classes are about HR, group discussions, etc. Here, you will be given placement papers targeting certain companies by the teachers. At the weekend, you will be handed over modules and questions that concern that specific company.
Acharya Institute of Technology is a good institute, with an excellent campus and good facilities. But, the department of Aeronautical Engineering does not live up to the expectation. There are several disadvantages of the Aeronautical Engineering department in the institute, and some of them are listed below.
The table below gives a brief overview of the Aeronautical Engineering department of the institute.

Teaching:
The professors in Aeronautical Engineering have no proper way of teaching, with some faculties having no proper knowledge about the relevant subjects in Aeronautical Engineering.
Laboratories:
There is no proper lab for the department. Students of Aeronautical Engineering perform all their experiments and work in the labs of two other departments if they are not found occupied.
Library:
There is no departmental library. Students need to gather their own study materials for themselves.
If you are serious about studying the subject don’t choose Acharya Institute of Technology for Aeronautical Engineering.
You should go with IIITs in any case as they are the better choice. You will be studying with some of the top students in the country who have managed to secure a rank under 35000. You will be exposed to a great study atmosphere and competition.
You cannot get this sort of exposure in local private colleges (with some exceptions) where several students get admission through management quota. Most of them are also from rich and well-to-do families who are just looking to secure a degree.
To be honest, you cannot compare an institute of national importance with a state-level private college. You should not underestimate the academics of colleges due to the absence of a permanent campus or infrastructure.
A lot of the students from these colleges have a really good caliber and the potential to gain international recognition without the support of the college administration.
To secure a seat in the CS department at NIT Surathkal you will need a minimum score of around 235 in JEE Main. If you belong to some category then, you will need to score 180 or above to get a seat in CS.
In terms of rank, you should be safe if you have a rank of around 2500-3000. Here is the required cutoff for CS at NIT K in recent years.
