To begin, keep in mind that CS is not a core subject, but rather a study of technology. As a term, technology refers to a technique or methodology developed based on scientific principles for the application of such scientific principles in real life. As a result, CS technology is only used in other core streams such as mechanical, automobile, and civil engineering. Many innovations in the mechanical engineering field are equipped with CS technologies, demonstrating that such innovations are created by mechanical engineers and facilitated by CS engineers.
If you are truly interested in computer science, you will learn a variety of programming languages and apply them in mechanical engineering fields such as engine automation, computer-integrated manufacturing, and so on.

IGNOU follows the credit system. Credit has nothing to do with grade marks or rank. It is somewhat related to the subjects you opt for. Credit is like books. 1 book = 1 credit (mostly)
If you opt for a subject that has for example 4 credits, then you are required to study 4 books of that subject. After passing your exams you will get 4 credits. You can understand better through the below-mentioned example:- If you are willing to get a degree in BA from IGNOU, you need to score 32 credits each year. This equals 96 credits for the entire course.
There are three categories from which you have to choose the courses to complete 96 credits. Following are the categories:
Foundation courses - 24 credits
Elective courses - 56 or 64
Application Oriented courses - 8 or 16
The table below has specified the credits of some fundamental courses.

Earlier MANIT Bhopal suffered from problems like ragging, poor faculty, and more. But from the time that our new director, Dr. N.S. Raghuwanshi joined the college, things have changed for the better.
He recruited new and better faculty members, and made many other changes in MANIT. The current condition of our college is quite good. New infrastructure is in place, including new hostels. As far as ragging is concerned, the scenario is different now. At present, the senior junior interaction is good, and seniors help freshers as much as possible.
I would recommend you join MANIT Bhopal, and assure you that you won’t regret this decision.
