Which is preferable: BIT Mesra or NIT Durgapur?
You should prefer BIT Mesra. It offers better facilities and placements compared to NIT Durgapur. BIT Mesra placement 2022 witnessed an average CTC of INR 10.02 LPA, and the highest domestic CTC offered was INR 51.71 LPA. It also has a beautiful well-constructed campus.

NIT Durgapur is superior to NIT Jalandhar. NIT Durgapur is older than NITJ and thus has a larger alumni base.
