New Delhi: Xavier School of Management (XLRI) is preparing to host a two-day 43rd Maxi Fair from January 21, 2023 on its campus ground. The Marketing Association of XLRI officially launched the fair on January 16, 2023.
The Marketing Association officially began the XLRI’s Maxi Fair 2023 by illuminating the candle alongside the Director Father S. George, the Dean of Academics Sanjay Patro, the Dean of Administration Father Donald D'Souza, and the Planning Committee of Maxi Fair.
While speaking at the event, Director Fr S George stated that attempts are being made to continue the legacy of XLRI's first 75 years. “It is said that there are many types of problems in life, how we successfully deal with those problems and challenges is called management,” he said.
Informing about the XLRI Maxi Fair 2023, the official website reads, “XLRI’s MAXI is the oldest co-curriculum committee in the country, in the oldest B-School in the country. MAXI is all set to conduct the 43rd MAXI Fair, its flagship event this year on January 21st and 22nd”.
“Although MAXI conducts many different events and activities throughout the academic year, MAXI Fair is the most popular one, and for good reason. The fair is not just for XLers but for the local Jamshedpur crowd, who fondly call it the ‘Jamshedpur Mela’,” it reads.
The XLRI-founded Maxi Fair, now in its 43rd iteration, is a research fair where studies on the attitudes of city residents toward sports are conducted. The main highlights of the event are Indian singer Shahid Mallya who will perform on January 22 at 7 o'clock.
For Maxi Fair, a number of events have been planned, including dance battles and fancy dress contests for kids. In addition to the Masterchef event for adults, there will also be a Miss and Mr Jamshedpur competition.
In addition to this, the victors will also receive televisions, washing machines, and other prizes. Aside from food vendors, the fair also offers a variety of activities and rides. For more details on the XLRI Maxi Fair 2023, interested candidates can visit: acad.xlri.ac.in.
