New Delhi: The government of West Bengal (WB) has launched an online platform to streamline the application procedure for undergraduate (UG) programmes.

According to the minister, a student can also specify his preferred college in his application, and his request would be considered. "We will leave the option to the respective institutions," Basu said when asked if the universities would be offering online exams this time, given that a segment of students have long advocated for it. They are self-sufficient. We're not going to get involved."
"However, we are in Favour of exam system transparency." One of the vice chancellors who attended the conference later stated that he and his colleagues from other universities conveyed to the minister our preparedness to implement the new system for UG programme admissions. By the end of this week, our executive body will have ratified the decision, he stated.
