WBJEE 2022 Result to Release Soon: Know Tie-Breaking Rule Here

New Delhi: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board is preparing to release the WBJEE 2022 Result for all registered applicants to check and download on its official website at wbjeeb.in.

Candidates who have appeared for WBJEE Exam 2022 held on April 30, 2022 in online mode will be able to check their result status for the same once after the release of the result link on the board's official exam website. 

Based on WBJEE 2022 Results, candidates will be shortlisted for the admission process and will be further called for counselling process. In case of a tie, the board will select applicants based on its tie-breaking criteria released on the official website. 

Earlier, the exam authority released the WBJEE Answer Key for all applicants to check on May 06, 2022. Applicants were allowed to submit their objections against the answer key released till May 08, 2022.

WBJEE 2022: Tie-Breaking Criteria 

As per West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, candidates with the same score in WBJEE Exam 2022 will be selected for the admission process based on the tie-breaking rule. The criteria for tie-breaking will be followed as per the points mentioned below: 

Rule 1: Candidates with fewer negative marks in Math, Physics, and Chemistry will be given preference. 

Rule 2: In case if tie does not break with Rule 1, then candidates with more positive marks in Math and Physics will be given preference in the rank list. 

Rule 3: If ties still persist, then candidates with more positive marks in Math and Chemistry (taken together) will be preferred.

Rule 4: Similarly, candidates with less negative marks in Math and Physics will be preferred.

Rule 5: Candidates with more positive marks for 2 marks questions in Physics will be preferred. 

Rule 6: More positive marks for 2 marks questions in Chemistry will be preferred.

Rule 7: Less negative marks in 2 marks questions in Physics will be preferred.

Rule 8: If the tie does not break after applying Rule 1 to Rule 7, then candidates will be preferred as per their age. Older candidates will be given more preferences.

Step 2: From the homepage, click on the latest "WBJEE 2022 Result" link available.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials as required and click on submit to continue.

Step 4: Check the details mentioned in WBJEE Result 2022 with care and download the same for future references.
