New Delhi: As per latest notice released, the West Bengal Government will start the admission process for UG courses from July 18, 2022 and PG courses from September 01, 2022 in state-funded higher education institutions in West Bengal for session 2022-23.
As per the official notification released, the higher education department of WB will open the admission window for UG courses from July 18 to August 05, 2022. For postgraduate courses, the admission process will start on September 01, 2022.
After the application process, the admission authority will publish the merit list for undergraduate courses by August 16, while the merit list for postgraduate courses will be issued on October 21, 2022.
The online admission process will be done based on merit and prospective students will not be called for counseling and verification of documents during the process of admission. Check the complete admission schedule and official notice link in this article below!

The admissions had been passed off in a smooth manner in online mode over the last two years, amidst the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. With the necessary infrastructure in place, the online admissions for UG and PG courses would continue, the official notice stated.
The notification informed that admissions to all undergraduate (Honours and General) and postgraduate courses in the State-funded higher education institutions and colleges in West Bengal for the ensuing academic session 2022-2023 will be made online.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding the admission process directly by the college authorities through letter or e-mail or telecommunication. Payment offers will be done only through e-payment or designated banks and not physically at the colleges.
