New Delhi: University Grants Commission (UGC) is inviting all educational institutes to take part in the Youth Parliament Program for the session 2022-23. The registration window for the program is open on the official NYPS portal at nyps.mpa.gov.in till June 30, 2022.
All UGC-approved educational colleges and universities in the country are eligible to participate in the youth parliament program. Under this program, colleges will be able to organize the Youth Parliament sittings on their campus ground till August 31, 2022.
In a letter to all vice-chancellors, principals of all universities, and colleges, UGC said, “All the Higher Educational Institutions and their affiliated colleges/institutions are requested to participate and register on the NYPS portal, nyps.mpa.gov.in".
Informing about the program, UGC informed that students who will take part in the parliament sittings will receive a 'Certification of Appreciation' from the commission. The certificates will be available through the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) website.

UGC Youth Parliament Program 2022: How to Register Online?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, at nyps.mpa.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the "New Registration" tab and register yourself by entering the details as required.
Step 3: Fill out the application form as mentioned and upload a copy of the required documents.
Step 4: Review your application form and submit the same to complete your UGC Youth Parliament Program 2022 registration process.
