
New Delhi: The Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Saha has announced that the state government is thinking of establishing a medical college in the tribal areas.
Recently, a dental college was inaugurated by the prime minister of India, however, the state already has two medical schools that offer post-graduate programmes.
Saha said that the state government has already chosen a location for a medical college in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) area while he was launching an integrated Ayush district hospital in the Chandrapur area of the Gomati district.
In order to reduce the strain on GBP Hospital and Agartala Medical College, Saha, who also holds the health portfolio, said that medical facilities in the district and sub-divisional hospitals are being enhanced.
Meanwhile, the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has released the AYUSH NEET UG Mop-up Round Counselling 2022 Seat Allotment Result. Interested candidates can check the seat allotment result online on the official website at aaccc.gov.in.
