New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has announced that a total of 286 seats are left vacant for the BUMS, BHMS, and BSMS Courses in IM and H Medical colleges for UG courses (UG AYUSH) under government and government quota seats.
According to the seat matrix issued by TN health, there are 19 seats vacant in BUMS, while the BSMS programme has 9 seats, the BAMS has 44 seats left vacant, and 214 seats are available in the BHMS programme.
It can be recorded that the most number of seats are left vacant for BHMS, followed by BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS Courses.

Recently the health department released the counselling schedule for the BUMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BAMS courses. However, the government quota/government surrender seat counselling process was concluded on December 30, 2022 and only the All India Quota and Management Quota seats counselling process is left.

The Department of Medical Education (DME) plays an important role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the health needs of the State.

Earlier, the Director of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu released the tentative seats available for admission to postgraduate diploma and degree courses in government medical and self-financing colleges for the session 2022-23.
