TERI SAS Delhi Admission 2022 Open for M.Sc Economics: Apply Before July 04, 2022

As a result of the MOU, TERI SAS will have access to comprehensive technical skills and a career-building programme with a reputation for educating young people and development enthusiasts for success in a connected world, which is now closely related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Professor Prateek Sharma, VC of TERI SAS, praised the MoU as a pioneering effort in India's sustainability industry during his speech. TERI SAS and Cisco Academy will be able to teach technology skills and career-building to students using the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum and tools with this collaboration.

With this initiative, the institute aims to improve career and economic opportunities, making youth aware of digital skills in the development sector, and adding to a newer workforce of the future. This will happen as the world at COP 27 debates to involve skilled youth who can be torch bearers of digital sustainability.

Working together with Cisco Networking Academy, students will be offered training in skills relevant to the ICT industry. This will help in improving employment opportunities for youth in India, who when employed with the right skill sets will possess the power to solve the world’s toughest problems in sustainability.

Students will be able to use the skills and knowledge from the Cisco Networking Academy programme and apply them to their studies of the environment, climate change, geospatial data, and many other topics linked to sustainable development thanks to this collaborative MoU.

Around 300 students participated in the hybrid event both physically and electronically via Cisco Webex. The MoU was exchanged by Mr Ishvinder Singh, India head - NetAcad & Skills, Social Innovation Group, CISCO, and Kamal Sharma, Registrar, TERI SAS.

Regional Manager APJC, Corporate Affairs, Cisco, Marcella O'Shea, spoke to the students while participating virtually in the session using Webex at TERI School Of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS).
