New Delhi: Autonomous Government Colleges in Telangana have decided to roll out Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level for the academic year 2022-23.
Almost a total of 11 autonomous government colleges are set to offer AI and ML courses at UG and PG level. These AI and ML courses were offered as engineering courses at UG and PG level in the engineering colleges of Telangana.
The latest reports reveal that a total of 60 seats will be offered in the listed colleges of the state for AI and ML courses and admissions for the same will be granted through Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST).
The colleges have specifically designed and developed the course curriculum of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in their respective boards of Studies as they have autonomous status.
Besides AI and ML courses, these government colleges are also introducing other UG courses such as BSc in Gaming, BSc in Animation, BBA in Retailing, BCom E-Com Operations, BA in Performing Arts, BSc in Graphic Design & Digital Advertising, BA in Content & Creative Writing, BBA in Logistics, BCom in Agri Storage and Supply Chain.
As per the reports, these new UG and PG courses are categorized as Apprentice Embedded Degree courses.
Candidates seeking admissions into the AI and ML courses at UG and PG level must note that the internship is mandatory, which has been included as part of the course curriculum as per the recommendation made by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the official notification of TS DOST 2022 for admission into various undergraduate courses in six universities in Telangana.
As per the notification, the DOST registration 2022 for phase 1 began on July 1. The registration window for the same will be available till July 30, as a result, interested candidates can apply for DOST registration 2022 for phase 1, from July 6 to 30, by visiting the official portal @dost.cgg.gov.in.
