New Delhi: The induction Ceremony of Symbiosis Medical College for Women- Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre and Symbiosis College of Nursing was conducted at Moringa Auditorium, Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre, Lavale, Pune. The chief guest of the occasion was Dr. Vedprakash Mishra.

During the event, Dr. Mishra, Professor of Excellence, Professor of Eminence, Professor Emeritus, and Distinguished Professor, said that each of them is different and has a right to be unique.
Further, he questioned how many of them are aware of their individuality, to which he answered that the source of a person's individuality is within themselves, not in the neighbourhood and that self-trust is the most crucial component to achieving success in life.
Giving valuable advice to the students during the occasion, Dr. Mishra said that they can trust everyone, but there is a chance that they will be betrayed; nevertheless, if they trust themself, they will never be betrayed.
He told the students that self-examination and reflection are important for personal development and that they can always have faith that God created them uniquely and acknowledge their uniqueness at the same time. Since life is a sentence, and they need to punctuate it.
Further, he asked the students to aim for an inverted comma in their life rather than an exclamation point, comma, full stop, or any other type of punctuation.
Speaking about an approach to life, Dr Mishra said to the students that Instead of 'Can I?,' it must be 'I Can,' when referring to a way of living. He said that Self-trust, self-understanding, and self-confidence cannot be borrowed from others, and it should be a person's monopoly.
Discussing the significance of induction, Dr. Mishra brought up the seven parables of Guru Vasistha Yoga. Four Raja Dashratha Putras were welcomed into Vaishtha Rushi's Ashram for the purpose of providing education.
He said that Induction comes first, and then the commencement of education and that education is for honour, esteem, dignity, self-respect, and community responsibility rather than for financial gain.
The main objective of education is to change "Human Being" into "Being Good Human." The Chief Guest stated that having the ability to evolve into a decent person rather than remaining merely as a Human Being is more crucial in life.
Dr S.B. Mujumdar, Founder and President of Symbiosis and Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), administered the oath to all the Medical Students.
Some of the distinguished dignitaries present during the occasion were Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director Symbiosis and Pro-Chancellor Symbiosis International University, Dr Rajani Gupte, Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis International University, Dr Rajiv Yeravdekar, Provost, Faculty of Health Sciences, Symbiosis International University.
