New Delhi: Rama Devi Women’s University Bhubaneswar introduced an MBA and MA in Philosophy course for the academic session 2022-23.

Vice-chancellor of Rama Devi Women’s University Aparajita Chowdhury stated, “The state government has already given its approval to begin the courses. The university is already running an undergraduate (UG) programme in Philosophy. From the coming session, a post-graduate (PG) course on the subject will also start”.

The MBA programme will be managed by a distinct department, according to Sasmita Mohanty, head of the university's PG Council. “The department will have seven faculty members. Initially, a teacher from the Commerce Department will head the department,” she added.

The institution had planned to establish an MBA programme two years ago, but because of the COVID outbreak, it was put on hold. Its faculty will come on board soon before students get enrolled.

She also stated that three faculty members who are already teaching US courses in Philosophy will be in charge of the PG courses.

Rama Devi Women’s University Admission 2022

Students who want to enrol in MBA or MA in Philosophy programmes must take the common PG entrance exam to be considered for admission. Currently, the institution offers 23 undergraduate courses, two of which are electives, as well as 13 post-graduate programmes.

The university also provides BA, B.Sc, and B.Com courses at the undergraduate level, as well as M.Com, MA, and M.Sc courses at the graduate level. The college has a strong placement record and assists students in their overall development through internships and seminars. 

Admission to all UG courses is based on merit, whereas admission to PG degrees is based on the entrance. Candidates can apply to this college through online mode.
