Over 15,000 Seats in Telangana's Engineering Colleges Had No Takers


New Delhi: Almost 15,447 seats remain vacant in the final round engineering seat allocation for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2022.

The engineering classes for the first semester of engineering classes for first-year students who have been allocated the seats through the TS EAMCET 2022 will commence from November 1 or 2. 

According to the latest report, a total of 63,899 of the 79,346 engineering seats that were available in 177 engineering colleges were filled. Out of 3,409 seats available in 115 pharmacy colleges, 1.05 percent of seats were allocated for BPharmacy admissions for MPC candidates. 

However, 592 of the 616 PharmD course seats that were available across 56 pharmacy colleges were unfilled.

27 Private Colleges Record 100% Seat Allotment 

As a result of limited web options, as many as 2,393 candidates were not given seats. However, 27 private colleges and one university reported 100% seat allotment. 

Candidates who have registered for the round can view the status of their allocations on the official website @tseamcet.nic.in. 

Candidates who receive seats in the final round must pay the tuition and self-report for admission through the website from October 26 to 28, 2022, in accordance with the counselling schedule. 

The provisional seat will be automatically cancelled if the candidate does not self-report online or pay the tuition by the deadline.
