Odisha State Scholarship Application Deadline Extended till May 20; Apply Now


New Delhi: The Odisha Higher Education Department has extended the application deadline for the Odisha State scholarships 2021-22 for all categories till May 20,2022. 


Eligible candidates can apply online for the E-Medhabruti scholarship & the Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti scholarship on the official portal, scholarship.odisha.gov.in.

This information was shared through a tweet on the official Twitter handle of DHE Odisha. As per the tweet, the last date for online validation by the heads of institutes or principals has also been extended upto May 31, 2022 by the department.

Earlier, the application deadline for Odisha State Scholarship was extended from April 5 to May 5, 2022, which has now been extended upto May 20, 2022. This is the fourth time the DHE Odisha has extended the state scholarship application process.

Under E-Medhabruti scholarship, Final assistance is provided to students pursuing their UG, PG, Professional and Technical courses, the condition is their family income is lesser than INR 6 LPA.

Similarly, the Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti scholarship is for students pursuing their UG and PG courses in the Odia language. Students obtaining more than 90% in Odia language at Higher Secondary Level or in Bachelor’s degree are eligible for this scholarship.

Step 1: Visit the official scholarship portal of Odisha Government.

Step 2: Search for your preferred scholarship scheme.

Step 3: Register yourself after filling the required credentials.

Step 4: Now, login with the Unique number/ aadhar number and password.

Step 5: Fill all required details and submit the application form.
