New Delhi: NMC is inviting applications for PG-Broad and Super Specialty Courses for starting new courses or increase of seats for MD/MS.DM/MCh seats. Interested institutions can apply between July 1 and July 20, 2022.

NMC has issued a public notice to call for applications for PG-Broad and Super Specialty Courses for new courses/increase of MD/MS.DM/MCh seats for the academic year 2023-24. Institutions need to follow the current postgraduate regulations gazetted as on date.

As per the official notification, "We invite the applications for starting of New postgraduate-Board and Super-specialty courses/increase of MD/MS/DM/MCh seats for the academic year 2023-24. The college should mention the status of the college in terms of undergraduate courses, and recognition of the existing postgraduate seats in that particular speciality. The Essentiality Certificate for starting of the new course and Consent of Affiliation (CoA) from the concerned university with correct nomenclature and number of seats shall be submitted along with the application."
"We request you to follow the current postgraduate regulations gazetted as on date. Please apply through online portal with prescribed fees with GST. For any queries, please contact the email ids- pg.marb@nmc.org.in and marb@nmc.org.in.," the notification also read.

The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) under NMC has decided to revise the format of the Affidavit and has informed that only applications with the revised affidavit without any changes will be accepted by the MARB w.e.f. June 30, 2022.
As per the NMC's circular, all medical colleges and institutes need to submit the prescribed affidavit along with their application w.e.f June 30, 2022, while applying for establishment of a new medical college, renewal of permission, increase of seats, recognition and continuation of recognition.
