One of the main founding members of this project Mr. Maitreyi Misra stated that through this course we can realise the barrier that prevents interdisciplinary learning which was created for students and practitioners of law.

She also said “(Thus, the courses) have been designed with the purpose of getting the different fields to speak to each other, rather than at each other in the courtroom. We have forensic scientists and forensic psychiatrists speaking to lawyers and the law, which enhances the learning experience but also has real world consequences in terms of the application to legal practice.”

The courses have their vision and concentrate on the fundamentals of information technology as well cyber regulation including privacy and data protection emerging technologies, platform governance, cybersecurity, and information protection, intellectual property and technology, and competition law and technology.

The foundation or the base of the course is to understand the conceptual public policy and socio-political as well as technology law and policy and their implications for our society.

With the development of the new National Education Policy of 2020, National law university's main motto is to focus only on growth, to transform cross-disciplinary research in Higher Education Institutions.

The course's main aim is to educate and learn young practising students in the legal field if they have their stakeholders in this course related to the ecosystem of technological law.

Interested candidates can enrol themselves to the official websites. Decoding Forensics for Legal Professionals course is of 6 weeks duration and learners would have to study weekly for 2 hours. Forensic Mental Health and Criminal Justice Course is a 4 week duration course and requires 2 hours of weekly study.

“NLU Delhi’s focus since inception has been to look beyond normative legal studies pattern and frame new multidisciplinary courses and encourage research in specialised areas that are still nascent,” said Professor Srikrishna Deva Rao, Vice Chancellor, NLU Delhi.
