NIT Trichy MS Admission 2023-24 Open; Last Date to Apply is November 30

New Delhi: NIT Trichy has begun the application process for the MS Programme for the academic session of January 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://www.nitt.edu/, by November 30, 2022. 

NIT Trichy offers the M. S. (by Research) programme is offered in all engineering departments and department of Physics (NDT) of the Institute. Candidates seeking admission to the MS programme can submit their applications till November 30, 2022. 

Admission to the MS Research programme would be done based on the candidate's performance in the interview round and counselling.

NIT Trichy MS Admission 2023-24: Dates

The MS Programme in the Full Time-Project & Part Time -Sponsored / Staff category. The specific areas (research topics) will be decided by the departments based on the following: 

1. Research interests of the Faculty, 
2. Research areas of mutual interest (considering NITT and sponsoring industries 

like BHEL, etc.) 

1. Research areas of sponsored research projects. 

NIT Trichy MS Admission 2023-24: Highlights 

The admission shall be purely provisional subject to the confirmation that they satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions, including verification of original qualifying degree certificates and other related documents.

NIT Trichy MS Admission 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the M.S. (by Research) programme will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech. degree, and must have 60% or above of aggregate marks, or equivalently, CGPA 6.5 or above in case of OC/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL, and 55% or above of aggregate marks, or equivalently, CGPA 6.0 or above in case of SC/ST/PwD.
• In case of AMIE/AMIIM candidates, a minimum mark of 55% in the qualifying degree is eligible for admission in all branches. 

NIT Trichy MS Admission 2023-24: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to the MS Research programme will be based on initial screening of the applications, followed by the performance in the interview/counseling to be conducted offline / online. 
• Only the shortlisted applicants shall be notified on the Institute website at every stage.
• Mere fulfilment of eligibility criteria does not ensure shortlisting for the interview/counseling. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview/counseling process. 
• Depending on the number of applications received, the Institute/ Department(s) will set the criteria higher than the minimum eligibility criteria for shortlisting applicants for offline/online interview/counseling process.

NIT Trichy MS Admission 2023-24: How to Apply?

 Step 1: Visit the official application portal of NIT Trichy @https://www.nitt.edu/

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

The self-attested copies of the all certificates/ Marksheet and fee receipt should be 

enclosed along with the application form as single pdf file with e-mail subject " Application for M.S Admissions - Jan 2023 Session" and it should be sent to msadmission@nitt.edu on or before November 30, 2022 (5 p.m.).
