NIS Admission 2020: Admission Test for Diploma in Sports Coaching on September 12, Check Details Here

National Institute of Sports (NIS) has issued an official notification stating admission test for diploma in sports coaching to be held on September 12, 2020.

The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode and hosted on the official website of Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports, Patiala (nsnis.org).

The exams will be held across cities: Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Patna, Jammu, Mumbai, Ranchi, Kolkata, Port Blair, Varanasi and Thiruvananthapuram.

NIS AdmissionTest 2020: Exam Scheme

NIS will conduct the examination in MCQ format. The exam will be held over a duration of an hour. There will be 60 questions with four options for each.

For each question, there will be 1 mark allotted. However, there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Questions for each section are tabulated below:

The exam paper will be bilingual, instructions will be given in both Hindi and English, except the Language and Communication section which will only be in English.

Note: Questions in Section 1 will be different for each candidate and based on his/her choices, other sections will be common to all.

NIS Admission Test 2020: What Next?

NTA will release the Provisional Answer Keys and responses of candidates on the official website (atdsc.nta.nic.in) based on final answer keys. Dates and details will be communicated through a press release. 

Candidates dissatisfied with answer keys can fill an application form to challenge and pay a non-refundable amount of INR 200. NTA will review the application and revise answers if required. NTA’s decision will be considered final and no further objection will be entertained.

NIS Admission 2020: Evaluation Process

The answer sheets of candidates will be evaluated based on the answer keys finalised by NIS. Apart from this, NTA will address the anomalies or discrepancies as per the following conditions:

1. During key verification or challenge, if two options are found correct, then candidates who marked either of the two options will be marked correct.
2. If all the options are found correct, all the students who attempted that question will be marked correct.
3. If all the options are wrong, then students who attempted the question will be marked correct.

Note: There is no provision for reevaluating results.
