NIRF University Ranking 2021: The Ministry of Education has released the most anticipated National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF 2021 Rankings for 11 categories including NIRF Top University Ranking 2021 on its official website at nirfindia.org.

As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF 2021 Ranking Released for university category, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has secured the first position among the top universities with a score of 82.67.
While IISc has topped the list with the highest scores, the Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University has also maintained their position at the second and third rank twice in a row with a score of 67.99 and 64.02 respectively.
Referring to the release of NIRF 2021 University Rankings, the Education Minister tweeted, “Rankings are the measure of the quality and excellence of an institution. We must develop regional ranking frameworks and also work to ensure that our ranking framework emerges as a benchmark not only in the country but also globally, especially for the developing economies”

The Education Minister released the NIRF 2021 rankings on the official website of NIRF as well as MoE. Following the release of the overall category of NIRF 2021 Ranking, Stream Wise Ranking List was also released by MoE on their official website today (September 09, 2021), at 3 pm. Highlighting the accomplishments made by top Indian universities, Dharmendra Pradhan said, ``I am happy that NIRF has successfully incorporated all the important aspects of teaching, learning, and resources, research, and professional practice graduate outcome, outreach, and inclusivity in institutions of higher education".
The NEP 2020 presents a large canvas to both India and Australia to bolster cooperation in the areas of cutting-edge research, online education, vocational training, skill development, student exchanges, and in updating curriculum and pedagogy in school education" he further added.
