NIMHANS Admission 2022 Open for Suicide Prevention Course: Apply till September 10


New Delhi: National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) has invited applications for the certificate program in suicide prevention and mental health promotion, offered by the Department of Psychiatric Social Work. Interested Candidates can apply for the program till September 10, 2022.

The 26 departments at NIMHANS provide over 50 courses in a variety of disciplines in the categories of UG, Diploma, PG, PGDM, Super Speciality Medicine Courses, Fellowship courses, PhD, and Post-Doctoral Fellowship courses. Admission to all of these courses is determined by the NIMHANS entrance exam.

The duration of the full-time course offered by NIMHANS in suicide prevention and mental health promotion will be of 3 months which commences on October 1, 2022. Interested applicants will have to pay a non-refundable course fee of INR 9000.

NIMHANS is Offering a Certificate Course in Crisis Intervention and Social Work Practice in Trauma Care

The Department of Psychiatric Social Work at NIMHANS also offers postgraduate social work students a three-month certificate course in "Crisis Intervention and Social Work Practice in Trauma Care." The suggested course would fulfill the training requirements in the field of Emergency and Trauma Care. The chosen individuals would be assigned to the NIMHANS Emergency and Trauma Care Centre. The application's due date is September 15, 2022.

The program is accessible to individuals who have earned a Master's Degree in Social Work (full-time) from an institution recognized by the UGC and authorized by NIMHANS, with a minimum of 55% in the Master's Degree overall.
