NEET PG 2020: MCC Offers Online Reporting for Round-2 Counselling amid COVID-19 Crisis

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on a recent notification, clarified on All India Quota (AIQ) admissions for 2020.

With the ongoing issues in physical reporting for Round-2 Counselling of NEET PG, several students across the country and abroad have been complaining.

In response to this, the authority offered an online reporting facility on a case-by-case basis. This is in view of the PG counselling that was previously scheduled to be held until June 30 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

MCC received several complaints from students claiming a lack of transportation and accommodations around allotted colleges. The similar has been frequently reported from the NRI candidates who are stuck abroad.

Facilitating online reporting, MCC has asked assigned institutes to consider the genuineness of the cases before deciding upon the allocation.

On the other hand, the official notification of MCC states, students who fail to avail online counselling, will be required to accept exit with forfeiture.

Additionally, students who will attend Round-1 and Round-2 counselling through AIG seats cannot resign or in any case vacate their seats.
