New Delhi: NCERT has launched a one-year Diploma Course for training professionals in guidance and counselling for the academic year 2023. The course will commence in combined distance and face-to-face mode for a duration of six months; from January to June 2023.

As per NCERT, the diploma course is specially designed to enhance the skills of candidates and the competencies of teachers to promote the holistic development of pupils and handle their academic, socio-emotional, and ethical problems.
Informing about NCERT Diploma Course 2023, the official notice informs, "The course will be transacted in three phases, i.e. distance (six months; January to June 2023), face-to-face contact programme at respective study centres, and internship in home town ".
"Admission to eligible candidates will be offered at DEPFE, NCERT, New Delhi and Regional Institutes of Education at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru and Shillong. Maximum no. of seats at each centre will be 50" the notice further reads.

NCERT Diploma Course Admission 2023: How to Apply Online?

Step 1: Visit the official website of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) at ncert.nic.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the latest NCERT DGC Admission 2023 link available.
Step 3: Register yourself by entering your name, email address, and other details as required.
Step 4: Fill out the application form and upload a copy of mentioned documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form to complete your application process.
The course is open for interested educators, teachers and interested candidates. To apply for admissions, candidates are directed to submit their applications in online mode as no applications submitted in offline mode will be considered by the admission cell.
