New Delhi: Nagaland University is currently accepting applications for its PG, PhD, PGD and Certification courses for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, nagalanduniversity.ac.in.

Nagaland University is now inviting applications only for the PG, PhD, PGD, and Certification Courses that are offered in various specializations. The admission process started on July 01, 2022. However, the deadlines are different for the courses.

To be eligible for admission at Nagaland University candidates must appear in an entrance exam for specific courses conducted by the university. The eligibility criteria vary for the courses of Nagaland University which are discussed below in detail.

Nagaland University PG, PhD, PGD, Certification Courses Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

PG Programmes:

• Eligible students for Major streams (internally or externally) will be given preference over General stream. 
• Passed a three-year degree with Major with 50% and for General students with 55% in the concerned subject
• For admission to LLM, an applicant must have LLB with 55% under 10+2+3 pattern or five years integrated course under 10+2+5 pattern. 
• 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category will be considered. 
• Applicants who have graduated from colleges affiliated to Nagaland University shall be entitled to a 10% weight-age of bonus marks over others. 
• For instance, a candidate who had passed out from any College affiliated with Nagaland University with 60% marks in graduation will get 6% as additional weightage and his/her total percentage will become 66% while drawing the merit index of selection. 

PhD Programmes:

Master’s or equivalent with at least 55% marks in aggregate or it's equivalent.

PG DIPLOMA/ PGC/Certificate Programmes:

• PG Diploma in Linguistics: Bachelor Degree in any stream/subject from any UGC recognized University/Institute having 45% marks for GEN./OBC category and 40% for SC/ST category. 
• PG Diploma in Hindi Teaching: Bachelor's Degree in any stream/subject from any UGC recognized University/ Institute. 
• Certificate in Spoken English: Minimum eligibility for admission shall be Higher Secondary. 
• PG Certificate in Spoken English & Writing Skills: Minimum eligibility for admission shall be Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. 
• One-Year Diploma Course in Tenyidie: Class 12 with knowledge of spoken Tenyidie. 
• Six Months Certificates in Tenyidie: Class 12 with knowledge of spoken Tenyidie. 
• Three Months Diploma Courses in Tenyidie for International Students: Class 12 with English spoken skills. 
• One Crash Course in Spoken Tenyidie: No bar in educational qualification. However, candidates with some English-speaking skills are preferable.

Nagaland University PG, PhD, PGD, Certification Courses Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly applicants are shortlisted on the basis of the performance in the qualifying entrance examination as per the preferred course.
• Shortlisted candidates then need to appear in the counselling round or personal interview round.
• The final selection is based on the overall performance of the candidates in the selection process.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of Nagaland University, at nagalanduniversity.ac.in.
• Step 2: Register yourself after filling in the required details such as Name, Email Id, Contact Number etc.
• Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 
• Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
