Applications for MICAT-2 for PGDM-C/PGDM 2021-23 admissions open; last date to apply January 20, 2021; exam on January 30, 2021.

MICAT Phase 2- 2021

MBA aspirants who missed appearing for MICAT-1, a computer-based entrance test of MICA, Ahmedabad, can now appear for MICAT-2, to be held on January 30, 2021. The institute has opened applications for its 2021-23 batch of the flagship 2-year PGP Program (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communication/Post-Graduate Diploma in Management).

The institute received a positive response for MICAT-I, held on December 5. Despite extremely challenging conditions, the turn-out across 45 centres was over 90%. MICAT 2021, a computer-based test, is conducted twice a year, and the better of the two scores is considered as a student may choose to write both MICAT I and II.

The application process for MICAT-2 is open, and the last date for online application for PGDM-C/PGDM MICAT-2 exam is January 20, 2021. It is noteworthy that students who have already appeared for MICAT -1, can also choose to take MICAT-2 and the best one of the two scores will be selected for the admission process.

This year, the institute has reduced its entrance exam duration, MICAT, by 30 minutes. The duration of MICAT has been reduced from 2 hours 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes for

the current year.

Professor Ruchi Tewari, Admissions Chair, MICA said, “While the number of sections in MICAT remains the same - Psychometric, Descriptive, and Aptitude section - the total number of questions has been reduced. This decision has been in deliberation for a while, and the stressful externalities propelled us into action to make a scientific analysis of data and take this decision.”
