The chief minister said, "Youth is an asset and power we have; if we harness their energy in the proper manner, we can assure that Meghalaya can be the best state in the country, as the youth will play a crucial part in guiding the destiny of our state."
In his words, "the government has begun programmes that assure good nourishment of a child and early education in a systematic manner since we will not be able to obtain the best if we plan to upgrade learning at the age of 20s."
