Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2022 Second Merit List to be Out on August 12: Check Detailed Admission Process


Maharashtra FYJC second merit list will be released on August 12, 2022. Earlier, MSBSHSE released first merit list on August 3, 2022. In the first round of Common Admissions Process (CAP), a total of 2,47,907 candidates has registered. The total seats available are 2,30,927. However, as per the officials, the actual number of seats for FYJC admissions is more than 3 lakhs including quota seats.

  • Candidates could choose a maximum of 10 colleges affiliated to Maharashtra Board as per their preferences.
  • Maharashtra FYJC merit list is declared online based on the marks secured in CET as well as SSC Exam.
  • Students who has secured seat in the college of their first preference will have to confirm their admission else they will be disqualified from the next round.

Maharashtra FYJC 2022 Admission: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed senior secondary examination i.e. class 10 from a recognized board are eligible for admission in class 11 through the FYJC admission process. Some additional eligibility criteria for admission in Maharashtra FYJC are as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed class 10 board with English as a compulsory subject
  • Mathematics shall be a core subject in class 10 in order to choose a bifocal subject in class 11
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved category(SC/ST/OBC) have to present their caste certificate. Outsider candidates are not eligible for reservation.
  • Candidates from other states have to fill and submit Appendix ‘A’ form additionally for admission.

Maharashtra FYJC 2022 Admission: Registration Process

All the processes regarding registration and admission will be completely online. Candidates are required to register themselves on the FYJC portal. Candidates are suggested to buy the prospectus from any school affiliated with Maharashtra Board so that they can understand the admission process properly. The steps to register online for Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2022 are as follows:

  • Visit the official website of Maharashtra FYJC i.e. 11thadmission.org.in
  • Click on ‘register’
  • After entering the details, click on ‘submit’
  • A login id and password will be generated
  • Enter the login credentials and then click on ‘admission form’
  • Enter all the required details and complete the first part of the registration
  • In the second part, choose the stream and select at least 10 preferred colleges
  • Upload the required documents
  • Complete the payment through online mode
  • The registration will be submitted successfully

Maharashtra FYJC 2022 Admission Fee

This year, the Maharashtra Board students will not have to pay any fees for the FYJC admission forms as they had already paid the SSC exam fees. However, the other boards students have to pay Rs. 170 to fill the Maharashtra FYJC application form.

In the academic year 2020-21, there was a total intake of 107215 for FYJC admissions. Around 87414 candidates applied for admission in first year junior college across various streams.
