New Delhi: Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) is inviting applications for admission to its various UG and PG programs for the academic session 2023-24.

The university provides admission to several programs such as BTech, BSc, B.Arch, B.Pharma, BBA, BCom, BCA, MTech, MSc, M.Pharma, M.Arch, MBA, MCA, MCom, and D.Pharma. Minimum eligibility for UG courses is HSC and for PG courses it is a graduation degree in the concerned discipline.

MRSPTU admissions are mainly merit-based and for some courses, it is also entrance test based.

For admissions to UG and PG programs in Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, a candidate needs to follow certain eligibility norms as follows:

• B.Tech: The candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 
• BBA: The candidates must have done HSC with at least 45% marks and then the institute will select the students based on their scores in the last degree.
• B.Sc (Hons): The candidates must have completed 10+2 in the science stream with at least 45% marks. 
• BCA: The candidates must have done HSC with Mathematics. The minimum required marks are 45%. It is also a merit-based course.
• B.Arch: The candidates should have passed HSC with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. 
• B.Pharm: The candidates must have passed the 12th class with PCB. The minimum required marks are 45%.
• M.Sc: The candidates who have done BSc are eligible. The institute selects its students by observing their marks in the last degree.
• MCA: The candidates who have done BCA can apply for this course. 
• M.Tech: The candidates must hold a BTech or BE degree with at least 50% marks. 
• M.Pharm: The candidates must have a B.Pharm degree with at least 50% marks.
• M.Phil: A candidate who has a master’s degree in the relevant stream can apply. 

MRSPTU UG and PG Admission 2023: Selection Criteria 

To get admission in MRSPTU interested candidates need to appear for the admission selection process that comprises of:

• Selection to B.Tech and B.Arch degree courses are done on the basis of JEE Main and NATA examinations respectively.
• Selections in UG courses like BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com and Lateral Entry courses are based on the performance of the candidates in the concerned qualifying exam designed for each course.
• The candidates applying for MTech and MBA programs should have appeared for GATE and CMAT entrance exams respectively.
• Selection to MCA, M.Sc, M.Pharm and MCA Lateral Entry degree programs are based on the merit list in the qualifying examination.
• 85% seats in each course are open for the candidates of Punjab state only and 15% seats are open for the candidates of other cities.

Step 2: Secure your access by verifying the mobile number or email id entered at the time of registration.

Step 3: Fill in the required details carefully.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 2,000 through credit card/debit card/net banking.

Step 5: Download the filled application form or take a printout for future reference.
