Maha CET Cell Issues Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Schedule for NEET PG, NEET MDS Admission; 524 Seats Vacant


New Delhi: The Maharashtra C.E.T. Cell has issued the schedule for the institutional stray vacancy round for NEET PG and NEET MDS institutional stray vacancy round for private unaided/minority medical colleges and online stray vacancy round for government/ government aided/corporation colleges.

The seat matrix has been released for NEET PG (institutional stray vacancy round 1 and online stray vacancy round 1) and NEET MDS (institutional stray vacancy round 1).

Instructions:

  1. All chosen candidates must deliver the required fees and all original paperwork to the designated institute in the form of a D.D. or check.
  1. If a bank holiday prevents candidates from submitting their D.D., they may pay the fees by check and replace it the following bank working day.

Following are the process that will be followed for the institutional round-

  1. Institutional stray vacancy round is only for Private Unaided/Minority Medical/Dental colleges, and seats remain vacant after the mop-up round.
  2. All the admission at institutional stray vacancy rounds should be made per the Rules of NEET PG /NEET MDS 2022 Information brochure.
  3. It will be the institute's responsibility to verify and ascertain the candidate's eligibility as per respective Central Council rules before admitting the candidate, even if the name appears in the list of eligible candidates.
  4. The Eligible and interested candidates should visit the Dean or Principal of the relevant colleges within the allotted time to apply in person or by any other means for the institutional stray vacancy round. Such applications should not be emailed or delivered in person to the State C.E.T. Cell. These applications will not be accepted for any institution-level admission process if they are submitted to the State C.E.T. Cell.
  5. In order to oversee the admission process for admission during the institutional stray vacancy round, the college or institution should form a Committee of four members chaired by the dean or principal.
  6.  If there are two P.G. seats available in the State quota for the same subject (one in Reserve and the other in Open Category), the Rules of Ear Marking should be followed. Check the NEET PG 2022 Information brochure's Annexure "C," Pages 44 to 46.

  8. If any reserve category seats are left unfilled, the inter-se rule must be strictly adhered to. Go through the pages of Annexure "C"

  10. The candidates must submit all of their original documentation along with the required fees in the form of a D.D./Cheque within the allotted time frame at the time of admission during the institutional stray vacancy round.
  11.  The admission procedure must be completed prior to the deadline set by each course's Central Council and Competent Authority, which is periodically announced.
  12. All admissions are subject to the approval of the Admissions Regulating Authority after the Cut-off date. The college should upload the information about the admitted candidate in the College Feedback Module of State C.E.T. Cell
  13. If any candidate is not registered with STATE CET CELL and admitted during the institution-level round, such a candidate's admission will not be approved by the Admission Regulation Authority (A.R.A.).
