With the State’s board results announcement, colleges have begun inviting applications for various undergraduate programs for upcoming sessions. In most of the colleges in Kochi, B.Com and BA English continue to be the most in-demand courses among students.

The teacher has reported that the admission process, except filling up the application form, is to be conducted offline. Students and parents have the opportunity to visit the college premises and enjoy the facilities provided by colleges.

Almost all the colleges in Kochi are inviting applications for undergraduate courses. But the application deadline is not decided as ICSE/CBSE board results are yet to be declared. Most colleges have also started inviting applications for postgraduate courses.

A staff of St.Albert’s College has said, “Online admission process was a complex one and students and teachers have not even met once in person for more than one-and-a-half years. Now everything except applications is held offline. The rank list will be published within a few days after receiving the deadline of the applications.”

As per the data, there could be a deprivation even for those students who score up to 90% marks due to the tough competition. The chance to get in the first allotment is a tough situation. Vocational courses such as B.Voc Course have already received a high number of applications.
