Jharkhand Engineering & Diploma Lateral Admission 2022 Open; Check Important Dates

New Delhi: Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has announced that it will conduct entrance tests JCECE LE 2022 & JCECEB DECE LE 2022 admission into various institutions in the state. 

JCECEB organizes the entrance exams annually od JCECE LE 2022 & JCECEB DECE LE 2022 for admissions into the engineering and diploma level courses. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications for the Jharkhand diploma lateral entry till May 28, whereas those interested in engineering lateral entry can submit till May 26, 2022.

JCECE Examination 2022: Details

The Diploma entrance competition examination (lateral entry)-2022 (formerly known as Professional / ITI Diploma Entrance Competition Examination) will be conducted June 26, 2022.

JCECE DECE LE 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

• There Is No Age Limit For JCECEB DECE LE Entrance Exam 2022.
• Candidates must have passed class 10+2 examination with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.
• Candidates who have completed 10th + (2 years ITI) are also eligible for admission to second year diploma course(s) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

JCECE LE 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates must be qualified in the diploma examination in engineering/ technology or B.Sc degree from any recognized University or Institution or Board.
• Candidates must have qualified in engineering/ technology or B.Sc degree courses with 45% marks and 40% for reserved category.

Candidate's admission to the engineering course (lateral entry) will be done based on the scores obtained in the competitive entrance exam. 

JCECE LE 2022: Exam Pattern

The JCECE LE 2022 exam will be conducted offline for a duration of 150 minutes. The exam pattern will be in the form objective type Multiple Choice Questions. Each correct answer carries one mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

JCECE Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of JCECEB @jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 650 for Diploma/ INR 900 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
