JEE Main 2023 Session 1: Provisional answer Key Out; How to Check & Raise Objections

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2023 provisional answer key for session 1 on its official website @jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam can check the answer key available online. 

Recently, the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exams were held between January 24 and February 1, in two shifts, except for the BArch (paper 2A) and B Planning (paper 2B) which were held only in the second shift on January 28.

JEE (Main) 2023 Session 1 Answer Key: How to Check?

Candidates can go through the steps to check the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 answer key.

Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main website— jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the link that says, ‘answer key challenge’

Step 3: It will redirect you to a new login page, where you should enter login credentials such as application number and password or application number and date of birth

Step 4: View the JEE Main 2023 answer sheet, match your answers and download it for future reference

Any candidate who is dissatisfied with the JEE Main 2023 answer key may challenge it for INR 200 per question. A non-refundable fee will be charged. 

JEE Main 2023: How to Raise Objections? 

Candidates who want to raise objections against the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Provisional Answer Key can go through the steps to challenge the answer key. 

Step 1: Visit the JEE Main Official website 2023

Step 2: Click on ‘Challenges regarding Answer Key’

Step 3: Login using the Application Number and Date of Birth and enter the Security Pin displayed and Submit. 

Step 4: Click on Click ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key

Step 5: The Question IDs in Sequence will be given for JEE Main 2023 Session 1

Step 6: The ID next to the Question is the ‘Correct Option’ is the most appropriate Answer 

Step 7: Candidates can use any one or more of the Option ID given in the next columns by clicking on the box.

Step 8: Upload supporting documents and Click on ‘Save your Claim’ and Submit the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Fee Finally’. 

Candidates must choose the "challenges about answer key" option, choose the paper they took, and then choose the right response in their opinion. They must upload any necessary supporting documents by choosing "pick file" and doing so (all documents to be put in a single pdf file). Then they should save their claim and make the fee payment.

Candidates will have to pay the fees through the online banking, credit or debit card. The Challenges can be submitted till February 4 till 7:50 pm and fees can be paid till 8 pm of February 4. 

The panel of subject experts will verify the challenges. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the answer key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. The result will be prepared based on the final answer key.
