IIT Tirupati Joins Hands with TCS for Joint Research; Check Details Here


New Delhi: IIT Tirupati has joined hands with the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for academic and research collaboration, collaborative student supervision, and teaching of joint courses in accordance with the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) India. 

According to the latest reports, the partnership calls for the offering of courses from prestigious universities like MIT and Stanford in the United States as well as joint workshops and conferences hosted by IIT Tirupati and TCS.

The agreement will make it easier to build cooperative research programmes, exchanges of academics, faculty, researchers, and students, internships for students, and a variety of additional academic and scientific collaborations, including joint publications. 

Moreover, the MoU would create new opportunities for the students pursuing BTech and MSc courses at IIT Tirupati to complete industry internships in the fields of quantum computing and quantum technologies.

Speaking about the agreement, IIT Tirupati Director Prof.K.N. Satyanarayana, said that it would benefit both universities and applications of quantum science and technology will benefit the country and society. 

Raju Goteti, VP and Global Head of TCS COIN, discussed the many steps taken by the institute to support advanced education in cutting-edge fields of engineering, technology, science, as well as humanities and social sciences, with a view to nation-building. 

IIT Tirupati Invites for Technical Business Ideas 2022 

The engineering institute has invited applications for Technical Business Ideas 2022. The Pre-incubation cell has issued an invitation to students to submit proposals outlining their creative technical concepts. 

The institute will assist researchers and innovators in turning their ideas into profitable businesses after carefully evaluating the applications based on technical merit and commercial viability. Interested candidates can submit their applications till August 12, 2022. 

The shortlisted students will receive a 1.5 lakh rupee financial aid package, coaching, IP filing assistance, and fundraising assistance.
