Eligibility: PhD in Engineering
Candidates applying for PhD in Engineering must have a master’s degree in engineering/technology.
Candidates who have done their masters in sciences and have a bachelor degree in engineering/technology from a centrally funded technical institute (CFTI) are also eligible for admission.
Eligibility: PhD Sciences
For admission in PhD Sciences, candidates need to have a master’s degree in Sciences and a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR-NET/NBHM or equivalent qualification.
While candidates who hold a master’s degree in Engineering/Technology and have qualified for the award of Bachelor’s degree in the same from a centrally funded technical institute (CFTI) are also eligible for admission.
Eligibility: M.S.(Research)
Admission into the M.S. Research program will be granted to candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Science with a valid GATE score.
While candidates having associate membership of specified professional bodies are also eligible provided they have a valid GATE score and have passed both Part A and Part B of the membership examinations.
Engineering graduates from IITs and other centrally funded technical institutes (CFTI) with a minimum CGPA of 8/10 (7.5/10 for OBC-NCL and 7/10 for SC/ST/PwD candidates) are eligible for seeking admission, without GATE score
Application & Fee
Candidates can submit their application at https://resap.iitpkd.ac.in/ latest by September 30, 2020.
The application fee is Rs.100/- for GN/OBC-NCL/EW Male Applicants. While for SC/ST, PwD candidates and GN/OBC-NCL/EWS female candidates, the fee is Rs. 50.
